Utah Hockey has Potential
We've all seen the Mighty Ducks, where the coach makes some poor life decisions, the players do awful, the coach says "sorry", then they have an amazing comeback and win. Classic movie plot and a real tear jerker.
Plus, when it comes to hockey, everyone loves the zamboni. Gotta keep that ice smooth.
It's Knuckle-Puck Time!
Here in Utah we have a new NHL hockey franchise which is currently called Utah Hockey Club. As this is new to Utah (not Hockey, but a NHL team), I was curious what people are searching for in related to Utah and hockey.
Here is a link to ahrefs that is pretty basic. Right now, according to ahrefs, the term "utah hockey club" is seeing about 10k+ in search volume. But the keyword difficulty is marked as "N/A." If someone were interested in filling that gap, I think there could be some potential.
However, the term "utah hockey team", also having 10k+ in search volume, has a keyword difficulty of "Hard." So using those specific keywords may be difficult for newcomers.
If you take a look over at ryrob.com's AI keyword tool, you'll find a low-difficulty potential for phrases such as:
- "utah hockey club analytics challenge"
- "utah hockey club website"
- "utah hockey club affiliates"
- "utah hockey club mascot"
- "utah hockey club espn"
I'm not sure how surely we can take the results from this source, but it is interesting nonetheless. If you were a big hockey person, and in Utah, you may be able to figure out a few things to do with these search keywords. If you have a website with enough backlinks, you could probably really make something happen on this topic.
So that's the NHL team, but there is still the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies have been around for a while. And although they are affiliated as a development league for the Colorado Avalanch, they are still a staple here in Utah. Check out the SEO potential for Utah Grizzlies. It looks like people want to know stuff such as:
- "what league are the utah grizzlies in"
- "where do the utah grizzlies play"
- "who owns the utah grizzlies"
And so on.
